Mike Thatcher is committed to being the best he can be. He makes those around him better and is often willing to sacrifice his time for others.

A great example of Mike’s altruism occurred on the Friday before New Year’s Eve, which would happen on Sunday. Four-day weekend and everyone needs to get home to prepare for family, festivities and food.

The store was slow, as always is this time of year, so store manager Teresa McBride was starting to send employees home when the phone rang. It was a window vendor who wanted to make a long awaited delivery, well past normal working hours.

In this case, it was an order that our customer had already been waiting three weeks to install. These windows were holding up the job! If we did not have someone at the store to receive these windows our customer might have to wait another week or two ‘til they came back around.

Another problem, their estimated time of delivery was 6:30, well past store closing hours.

Store Manager Teresa McBride knew the weight of the situation. She was committed to getting our customer taken care of and solving this problem. One lone voice, Mike Thatcher volunteered to stay, even while Teresa left, he stayed and got the job done. Windows received and customer satisfied.

We take great pride in the extra service we give to our customers. We can only perform as we do if we have Road Warriors like Mike Thatcher.
