During our recent store remodel in Bedford, as you might imagine, there is a lot to do. Maybe
more than is considered within reason. Yet once things are torn down, they need to be built
back up.
Our plan A was to hire an outside organization that specializes in merchandising for
large projects like this. However, that source dried up.
These three, Kain Houpt, Jacob Taylor, and their leader Shannon Batchelor, just said, “Move
Aside,” we will get it done. Working extra hours and some weekends, they installed all the
gondolas for the new remodel. They are on their way to making our Bedford store a great place
to shop.
We are so proud of these three, and mostly the kind of men they are. That’s why they were
nominated as Extra Milers. They “stepped up” when others “stepped down”.
With more to do, I’m sure Store Manager Melissa Hilkey can depend on these Extra milers to
complete the job. Congratulations all!
